Senior Portraits That Feel Like Them

The images they'll want to share. The portraits your family will treasure for years.

We create senior portraits for Class of 2027 families throughout Austin and the Texas Hill Country. From modern city portraits and golden-hour fields to sports, dance and meaningful places, every session is thoughtfully planned and naturally directed to create extraordinary photographs your family will treasure for years.

Every session includes both: the images that feel most like them today, and the portraits your family will still love years from now.

For the Guys

He Doesn't Need to Love Photos.

He needs a session built around something he does love. We don't start with portraits — we start with what's actually his: sports, scouting, a truck, music, a uniform, a job, family property, a dog, or wherever he's headed next.

The portraits come out of that, not the other way around.

Our Approach

What Makes a Great Senior Session?

Beautiful senior portraits aren't created by one location or one pose. They're created by thoughtful planning, confident direction, great light, and the flexibility to create a wide variety of images — all within one cohesive experience.

That's where 18 years behind the lens makes the difference.

Questions

Senior Portrait FAQ

When should we book senior portraits?
Most families book in spring or summer of junior year through early senior year, which gives the most flexibility on dates and locations. Earlier is generally easier, but we work with families on whatever timeline fits.
Where are the best places for senior portraits in Austin?
The best location depends on the senior rather than one universal list. Some prefer modern architecture and The Domain, while others feel more at home in open Hill Country landscapes, on a sports field, or somewhere connected to their real life. We help plan a route around the look, season, light, and personality that fits.
What is the difference between school portraits and a personal senior session?
A school portrait is one standardized pose, the same backdrop as everyone else, done for the yearbook. A session with us is guided from start to finish — real posture, real expression, built around your senior. Not a template. More in our Senior Guides →
Do you photograph seniors outside central Austin?
Yes. Alongside Austin, we regularly photograph Class of 2027 seniors from Westlake, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, and Hutto.
Do you help with posing?
Yes. We guide posture, movement, and expression throughout the session, so your senior is never left wondering what to do with their hands or how to stand.
What should my senior wear?
We'll send a complimentary wardrobe guide before the session, but generally a mix of a few outfits that feel like your senior's everyday style works best.
Can we include sports, dance, music, or hobbies?
Yes, and we encourage it. A senior's interests — sports, dance, music, art, anything that's genuinely theirs — make for some of the most personal portraits in the gallery.
Can parents help choose images?
Of course. Parents are welcome at the session and in the gallery review process, and we're happy to talk through favorites together.
How long does a senior session take?
Most sessions run one to two hours depending on the collection and the number of locations or looks involved.
When will we receive our images?
You'll receive a few sneak peek images within 24 hours. Your full proof gallery is typically ready within 7–10 business days, and after you select the images included in your collection, the fully edited final gallery is usually delivered within another 10–14 business days.
Do you offer prints?
Yes. Prints, albums, and wall art are available, and personal printing rights are included with every collection.
What is the Senior Year Story?
The Senior Year Story is our year-long photography experience: three meaningful moments documented across fall, winter and spring, plus the complete Cover Story portrait session. See how it works →
