Before You Choose

How Families Usually Decide

Personality & Comfort

Some seniors love the camera. Others need time to warm up. The right collection gives them enough space to feel natural.

Variety

Outfits, locations, hobbies, sports, dance, instruments, or personal details can all shape the session.

Final Use

Announcements, albums, wall art, social media, graduation gifts, and family keepsakes all influence how much variety you may want.

Essential senior portrait session by Nydam Photography
For seniors who want a focused, polished portrait session with images that feel clean, confident, and true to who they are.

Essential Senior Session

The Essential Session is built for one location and one hour — enough time for strong portraits, natural expressions, and images your family will want to keep. We keep the session intentional, guided, and relaxed from start to finish.

This is not about standing stiffly in front of a camera. We guide posing, movement, and expression so your senior feels comfortable and looks like themselves.

Signature senior portrait session by Nydam Photography
The Collection Most Families Choose
For seniors who want more variety, more personality, and a fuller portrait story.

Signature Senior Session

The Signature Session gives us room to create a session that feels more like an editorial portrait story than a single set of senior pictures. With two hours across two to three locations, multiple outfit changes, and more movement, this collection is ideal for seniors who want images that feel personal, stylish, and complete.

It's especially strong for seniors who want to include meaningful details — dance, sports, music, favorite outfits, or locations that feel like them.

All-Inclusive senior portrait experience by Nydam Photography
For families who want the complete senior portrait experience — planned, styled, guided, and fully taken care of.

All-Inclusive Senior Experience

The All-Inclusive Senior Experience is designed for seniors who want the most polished version of their session without feeling like they have to figure everything out alone. Across two to three hours with unlimited locations and unlimited outfit changes, a makeup artist and hairstylist are part of the day from the start, so preparation feels like the beginning of the experience rather than something to handle beforehand.

This is the best fit for seniors who want maximum variety, a more styled editorial feel, and a session that feels like a once-in-a-lifetime milestone rather than another appointment on the calendar.

Questions

Questions About Senior Collections

Which senior portrait collection should we choose?
It depends on how much variety your senior wants. Essential suits a focused, classic session. Signature fits seniors who want more outfits, locations, or personality woven in. All-Inclusive is for a fully styled, complete experience.
When should we book senior portraits?
Most families book in spring or summer of junior year through early senior year, which gives the most flexibility on dates and locations.
Do you help with posing?
Yes. Every collection includes guided posing and direction, so your senior is never left wondering what to do.
How many outfits should my senior bring?
We typically recommend 2–3 outfits for any session. Signature includes multiple outfit changes, and All-Inclusive includes unlimited outfit changes, so there's room for as much variety as your senior wants. We'll guide outfit choices ahead of the session.
Can we include dance, sports, music, or hobbies?
Yes, and we encourage it. A senior's interests can be woven into Signature and All-Inclusive sessions without making the day feel like a theme shoot.
Do parents help choose final images?
Yes. Parents are welcome in the gallery review process, and we're happy to talk through favorites together.
When do we receive the gallery?
Senior galleries are typically delivered within two to three weeks, with a few favorites shared sooner.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes. Personal printing rights are included with every collection, and albums or fine art prints can be added.
What is the difference between senior portraits and NP Seniors?
Senior portrait collections are our standard senior photography sessions. NP Seniors is a separate, limited program for a more connected experience, with seasonal opportunities and early access.
Is payment due at booking?
Senior sessions are reserved with payment in full at booking unless otherwise arranged.
