Jim & Anna: A Wedding at The Hacienda
A sunlit courtyard ceremony, followed by a recessional full of ribbon wands and a celebration that carried that same joy through the evening.
Jim and Anna were married at The Hacienda in Santa Ana, California — a Spanish-tile courtyard full of climbing vines, strung chili peppers, and a fountain that quietly anchored the whole ceremony. It's the kind of setting that does half the work for a photographer: warm light, real texture, nowhere that doesn't already look intentional.
The ceremony closed the way a celebration should — guests on either side holding ribbon wands, the two of them walking out through a tunnel of motion and noise. From there, the day opened into toasts, laughter, and the easy warmth that follows a wedding once the formal part is finished.
Even outside Texas, the approach stays the same: candid storytelling, calm direction, and a willingness to travel for a day worth telling properly.
This is that day, as it happened — The Hacienda to the celebration that followed.

Toasts & Celebration
A shift into celebration — toasts, laughter, and the warmth that follows once the ceremony is behind everyone.
"I booked Nydam Photography to shoot my indoor/outdoor wedding in July. Despite the heat and tricky lighting, Arlen's professional yet easygoing personality put myself and my bride at ease. The pictures are beautiful and an enduring memory of our wedding day."James Keating Jim & Anna · The Hacienda, Santa Ana
